Program Calendar 2017-2018 (updated 2/3/2018)

calendarMeetings are held on the second Thursday in the months of September through May.  The months of November, January, February, March, and April include lecture programs by Master Gardeners designed to give expert knowledge for new education and community outreach. The public is welcome to attend, but we ask that you let us know in advance so we can have enough refreshments for everyone.  You can email: SwitzerlandGC@gmail.com

The September, December, and May luncheons are members only.   If you'd like to become a garden club member please come by and meet us and ask for a member application form, or print a copy online.

Meetings run for 2 hours; the presentation will be given during the meeting (at 10 or 11 AM):
  • September 14, 2017,10:00 a.m.: Planning Meeting, Bartram Trail Library (member event)
  • October 12, 2017, 10:00 a.m.: Mandarin Museum Field Trip 
  • November 9, 2017, 10:00 a.m.: Cacti/Succulents Program by Master Gardener Cat Rodgers, Bartram Trail Library 
  • December 14, 2017: Christmas Luncheon, TBA (member event)
  • January 11, 2018, 10:00 a.m.: Eat your Vegetables and Their Scraps Program by Master Gardener Barbara Purple, Bartram Trail Library 
  • February 8, 2018, 10:00 a.m.: Bluebirds Program by Master Gardener MarySue Wolf, Bartram Trail Library 
  • March 8, 2018, 10:00 a.m.: Orchids Program by Master Gardener MaryAnn Bell, Bartram Trail Library 
  • April 12,2018, 10:00 a.m.:  ,Propagation of Plants Program by Master Gardener Karen Van Pernis, Alpine Groves Park  
  •  May, 10, 2018, 11:00 a.m.: End of Year Luncheon, TBA (member event)
